IDR appoints tax services director

by Silvia Saccardi 22 September 2023

IDR has appointed Robin Silverthorne as tax services director.

Silverthorne has held a variety of senior tax positions during his career, spanning more than two decades. His most recent role was head of anti-tax evasion and operational tax at NatWest Group, gaining expertise in compliance management and the use of tax softwares.

He also has experience in commercial and private banking, with other notable organisations he has worked for including PwC, HSBC and HM Revenue & Customs.

In his new role, Silverthorne will lead IDR’s tax services, including FATCA and CRS reporting for GPs and LPs.

Silverthorne commented on his appointment: “Throughout my career I’ve been committed to tailoring innovative, joined-up tax solutions which make the tax process easier and more efficient for clients. Tax reporting is an increasingly challenging area for fund managers to navigate, especially as they raise bigger funds across a wider pool of investors, so I'm excited to continue this journey with IDR.”
