Impak Analytics launches SFDR tool

by Matthias Plötz 8 March 2023

Impak Analytics has launched SFDR+i, a combination of its SFDR module and SDG alignment report, to assist firms with their SFDR compliance.

The tool should support firms with identifying their sustainability objectives to prevent reputational risks caused by fund reclassification, supported by an integrated, automated data collection platform.

“The cascading reclassification of Article 8 funds in recent months has proven us right,” said Paul Allard, co-founder and CEO at Impak. “Which is why our teams have intensified their efforts to create a product that facilitates compliance with the latest Level 2 standards of the SFDR and provides impact intelligence at the same time.”

According to the company, the offering includes the 14 mandatory PAIs and 26 of the 33 optional PAIs, with the remainder soon to be integrated. Impak’s SaaS and API stacks should provide the underlying data. Further, the alignment report should include insight into companies’ SDG contributions to assist with the identification of measurable sustainability objectives and avoid greenwashing and other reputational risks.

“This tool is dedicated to private equity with the same high standards of analysis and quality as for publicly-listed companies, and this is what makes our offer unique today,” commented Cédric de St-Léger, CTO at Impak. “It is a real tour de force for our tech teams.”
