Intapp acquires Paragon Data Labs
Intapp has acquired Paragon Data Labs, an employee compliance software provider.
Founded in 2020, Paragon monitors, identifies and manages employee adherence to firm policies in a centralised location.
Intapp will integrate the platform as Employee Compliance, in which it aims to offer the following services:
- Automated pre-clearance process with broker data to identify conflicts of interest
- Centralised employee access for teams to track progress, send notifications and reminders
- Centralised data and dynamic reporting dashboards
- Auditable system of record.
CEO of Paragon and previously director at BlackRock, Jefferson Mitchell, will lead the business line within Intapp.
“We have seen firms place an increasing focus on ensuring employees remain in continual compliance with different – and often quickly evolving – regulatory standards and a desire for the associated workflows and data to be integrated into their wider compliance processes,” commented Nigel Riley, general manager of risk and compliance at Intapp. “Paragon’s capabilities will let us address personal regulatory requirements such as SEC code of ethics, personal independence and employee trade monitoring.”
The acquisition follows the announcement that Intapp’s Ben Harrison has joined Chronograph’s board of directors.
In September 2022, Intapp also partnered with Equilar to help investors and advisers expand their networks using corporate leadership data from global businesses.
