Intertrust’s Johnson joins Crestbridge
Crestbridge has appointed Michael Johnson as group head of fund services. He is currently vice chair of the Jersey Funds Association.
He replaces Michael Newton who has been appointed to the newly-created head of client delivery role. Newton will oversee client delivery and operations for Crestbridge’s fund, real estate and corporate services teams.
In his new role, Johnson is responsible for growing and evolving the firm’s overall funds proposition. He will also support managers operating across various asset classes including private equity, real estate, debt and credit funds and assist with regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
“[Johnson’s] experience in building world-class teams, expertise and knowledge will be vital as we continue to focus on supporting fund managers and help them to generate returns for investors,” said Graeme McArthur, chief executive of Crestbridge.
Johnson joins Crestbridge from Intertrust, where he was head of fund services in the Channel Islands.
Prior to this, he held the same position at BNP Paribas Securities Services. He was also head of business operations at Swiss Re Capital Markets/Asset Management and a manager at PwC.
