KKR acquires ERM

KKR has acquired a majority stake in sustainability consultancy ERM.

KKR’s Core Investments strategy acquired the majority stake from Omers Private Equity. As part of the deal, ERM’s management team and partners remain minority investors. 

According to Bloomberg, the deal could value the ESG consultancy as much as $3bn.

ERM provides ESG consulting services to private equity firms. It has technical expertise in environmental health, safety, risk and social matters.
