KPMG’s Wall joins BDO as partner
Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO has appointed Jennifer Wall as partner, focused on tax advice and reporting services
She joins from KPMG UK, where she spent the last 12 years, most recently as a director in the firm’s private equity practice. In this role she worked with various fund clients, ranging from traditional mid-market PE funds to real estate funds and infrastructure funds. Wall initially joined KPMG in 2008 as a tax assistant and rose through the ranks in subsequent years to become director in 2018. During her time at KPMG, Wall undertook a part-time secondment to private equity firm BlueGem Capital Partners where she was a tax adviser between 2014-15. In this position, she provided in-house tax support on transactions and fund closings, as well as ongoing tax management required in PE management businesses.
In her new role, Wall will focus on working with private equity funds, providing tax advice and reporting services.
According to Paul Eagland, managing partner of BDO, private equity remains one of the firm’s key areas of focus, so the firm is pleased to be able to expand the team further.
BDO provides audit & assurance, tax, advisory as well as business services & outsourcing solutions across all sectors of the economy, including private equity.
