by Matthias Plötz 8 March 2023

KSL Capital has appointed Nolen Taylor as the firm’s CFO, based in Denver, who will succeed Charlie Martin in the role. It is unclear whether Martin is still with the firm.

Taylor joins the firm from The Energy and Minerals Group (EMG) where he worked the last decade as CFO and managing director. His time at EMG saw him responsible for investment valuations and income across 30 portfolio companies, treasury activities across funds and managed accounting, as well as payroll for all funds, management companies and GP entities.

Prior to EMG, Taylor spent 17 years at KPMG first as senior manager then as audit partner, with a brief stint as senior director of accounting inbetween, at i2 Technologies.
