Levelling the playing field

ESG is now an intrinsic part of private equity investing, but a more recent complaint has emerged around how unregulated it is. With that in mind, the European Commission, Guernsey Finance and a number of fund managers are taking the lead in creating global harmonisation for implementing and reporting ESG practices.

Here are highlights of recent developments by various bodies to regulate and standardise ESG, as part of the greater move to prevent greenwashing and ensure responsible practices.
