Private equity loves to hire from private equity. And understandably so, private equiteers have major fiduciary responsibilities; to invest responsibly on behalf of their institutional clients, selecting the right companies to back, growing them sustainably, selling them to the right buyer at the right time, and all within a legal and well-communicated framework.

And it would appear the CFO role is the strictest when it comes to needing relevant or exact experience.
