LP/GP power balance set to shift

Investors are likely to increase their power over governance handling, according to Intertrust.

The fund administrator’s article, Private equity technology trends in 2022, written by head of innovation Nandakishore Divakarla, noted the direct influence investors already have on governance issues in public markets, including remuneration policies. Naturally, with investor appetite for similar influence over the private capital space, the gap between how public and private markets are handled is narrowing.
