LPs prefer outsourcing

According to new figures, institutional investors prefer fund managers to outsource back office functions to a fund administrator.

SS&C Intralink’s 2022 LP survey found that 38% of institutional investors surveyed prefer a manager to use a fund administrator, while 47% said it depended on a case-by-case basis. Only 15% of LPs said they had no preference for GPs outsourcing back-office functions.
