LPs recalibrating risk appetite

According to Adams Street Partners’ Navigating Private Markets in 2023: Rethinking Risk, Resilience and Returns, inflation and higher interest rates are fuelling LPs’ change in risk appetite, preferring sector expertise from fund managers and looking to invest more in private credit.

The firm surveyed 106 of Adams Street’s LPs, including pension funds, institutional accounts and portfolio managers located in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific.
