Mirabaud Asset Management partners with Zebra Impact Ventures

by Silvia Saccardi 4 September 2023

Mirabaud Asset Management has strategically partnered with Swiss VC Zebra Impact Ventures.

The two firms aim to invest in innovative technology created to help combat climate change.

Mirabaud Asset Managers is part of Mirabaud Group, which was founded in Geneva in 1819. It offers corporate finance, wealth and asset management services. The firm is seeking to develop its private assets platform.

Zebra invests in early- to growth-stage nature-tech solutions, with investments in food systems transformation, decarbonisation, transport and mobility, and energy.

The partnership will incorporate Mirabaud’s operational support with Zebra’s specific industry knowledge.

Lionel Aeschlimann, CEO at Mirabaud Asset Management, commented on the partnership: “This relationship is very much aligned with our approach to private assets – where we seek out the deep level of industry expertise needed for insightful and rewarding investing.”

Lionel Artusio and Fabio Sofia, co-founders of Zebra Impact Ventures, added: “As investors, we have a real opportunity to finance the innovation required to build the sustainable, regenerative food systems that we need. Our strategic partnership with Mirabaud will help us achieve this.”
