MJ Hudson’s Brozyniak joins Charles Russell Speechlys

by Krystal Scanlon 7 June 2021

Law firm Charles Russell Speechlys has hired Edyta Brozyniak as partner within the firm’s financial services and funds team.

She joined from MJ Hudson where she spent the last four years. She initially joined as a senior solicitor and was promoted within a year to partner. Prior to this, she spent three-and-a-half years as a senior solicitor at Macfarlanes. Before this, she worked as a senior associate at Ashurst.

Brozyniak advises clients on fund formation of private equity and venture capital funds, co-investments and investor negotiations. She focuses on European family offices and foundations, specifically Germany and Switzerland. She also advises institutional investors and UHNWs on private equity funds and has experience in limited partner representation and advising on investment management agreements.

“The recruitment of an experienced practitioner, with the vast knowledge that Edyta has acquired in this space, will transform the services we can provide in funds and boost our industry reputation,” said Simon Ridpath, managing partner at Charles Russell Speechlys. “Edyta’s arrival will further strengthen our funds capabilities to take on additional work for institutional funds in the UK. This, alongside our funds expertise in our Luxembourg office, reinforces our offering to the firm’s existing client base and will assist in attracting new clients to the firm.”
