More signal, less noise: enhancing the UK’s position as a fund domicile

Despite housing the largest asset management industry in Europe, the UK ranks behind other jurisdictions as a domicile of choice for UCITS and AIFs. Mark Crathern, Head of NatWest Trustee and Depositary Services says regulators must do more to boost competitiveness.

The pace of change over the past few years has been significant for the UK funds industry, with factors such as Brexit, recovery from the pandemic, and climate change driving much of the agenda.
