Novata secures $21m series-A

ESG data company Novata has closed a $21m series-A funding round, which included principal investors, The Ford Foundation, S&P Global, Hamilton Lane and Omidyar Network. 

Novata provides PE firms and private companies with reporting metrics, a database to store information, and tools for analysis and reporting to key stakeholders, including LPs and regulators.

The fresh capital will support the launch of Novata’s three-part open architecture approach to holistic ESG analysis.
