ODD: background checks most important

According to a new report, background checks and references are the most important operational due diligence considerations for LPs when evaluating GPs for a potential allocation.

Law firm Seward & Kissel’s 2022 Alternative Investment Allocator Survey, May 2022, found on a scale of 1-5, 1 meaning ‘very important’, while 5 means ‘less important’, 72% of respondents cited background checks/references as ‘very important’.
