Ontra expands legal operating platform
Ontra has launched its entity management solution Ontra Atlas.
The contract automation provider has extended its AI operating platform to include the management of legal entities and processes regarding firm and fund operations.
According to a statement, users of Ontra Atlas can store documents in a single location, create structure charts from that data using algorithms, track authorised signatories and manage information accessibility.
“For most PE firms, entity management is a weak link in their corporate governance strategy. With no clear ownership, no defined processes, and no specialised tools, firms expose themselves to significant regulatory and operational risks,” commented Matt Crowley, general manager of Ontra Atlas. “Ontra Atlas combines technology with best practices. We view strong entity management as foundational to an effective corporate governance programme,” he added.
Ontra Atlas is the latest addition to the firm’s legal operating system, which already offers contract automation, fund formation compliance services and AI developed specifically for the automation of legal processes.
