Petra Funds appoints director of ESG

Petra Funds Group has appointed KPMG’s Hugh Simpson as director of ESG.

Simpson will be based in the fund administrator’s London office.

At KPMG, Simpson served as sustainable and impact investors lead for two years, where he helped GPs create impact-driven funds in accordance with SFDR.

He has also developed a knowledge of private market funds and ESG investment data from his experience at Deloitte and MSCI respectively.

His new role will involve directing the delivery of ESG managed services and advisory, aiming to help fund managers develop their ESG strategies.
