Private equity must address climate change risk

According to a new report, the private equity industry must prioritise risk mitigation related to climate change now, in order to progress to a net-zero emissions future.

The Changing Climate for Private Equity report, published by sustainability nonprofit Ceres and The SustainAbility Institute by ERM, sought to understand how deeply climate-related expertise is embedded within PE firms, and to explore what climate performance expectations they impose on their portfolio companies.
