Private funds failing to provide climate data

by Matthias Plötz 23 August 2022

According to a new report, private market managers are failing to provide adequate reports on climate risks, hindering TCFD compliance

Research by consulting firm Hymans Robertson suggests providers of defined benefit and defined contribution pensions schemes will not meet their governance and reporting obligations under the task force on climate-related financial disclosures (TCFD).

As per the report, 42% of managers provide climate risk data across all funds, 14% on some funds, and 44% did not respond on their data deliverables.
