Profile: Susan Wilkins, Actis

by Krystal Scanlon 12 May 2022

The Drawdown (TDD): You’ve worked closely with Actis since 2006. Can you tell me more about this?

Susan Wilkins (SW): Back then, I met Torbjorn Caesar, (now senior partner at Actis), who was then CEO of Globeleq, a pan-African and Central American energy infrastructure portfolio company in Actis’ earlier energy funds. I joined as CFO, head of legal & compliance and part of the executive team, and helped to build the business into two very discrete platforms of scale in pan Africa and Central America.
