by Silvia Saccardi 7 November 2022

Reed Smith has appointed Romin Dabir as partner in its Financial Industry Group and London office.

Dabir joins the law firm from Kirkland & Ellis International where he spent four years as partner in the financial services regulatory team.

Bringing with him 15 years of financial regulatory expertise, Dabir started his legal journey at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. After qualifying as a lawyer he moved to Macfarlanes where he spent almost four years practising as a senior solicitor in the financial services regulation department.

His practice offers regulatory advice to sellers and buyers in financial services alongside support for transactional departments; it advises on acquiring authorised financial firms and on the issue of securities on regulated markets.
