Ropes & Gray appoints funds partner Brown

Ropes & Gray has appointed European funds lawyer Emily Brown as a partner in its asset management group, based in London.

She will join the firm next month from Schulte Roth & Zabel where she has been a partner since 2018. Before this, Brown was senior counsel at Macfarlanes for four years. Prior to this, she was a senior associate at Dechert for nine months, following six years as an associate at Clifford Chance.
