Ropes & Gray promotes Raghavan to counsel

Ropes & Gray has promoted Lavanya Raghavan from associate to counsel, based in the firm’s London office.

She joined the firm in 2018 as an associate, having spent nearly eight years at Clifford Chance, where she started out as a trainee solicitor before being promoted to senior associate.

Raghavan works across the investment funds practice, having advised established and emerging managers of private funds, spanning a range of asset classes on fund formation, co-investment, carried interest and executive participation schemes, governance arrangements and ESG issues.
