With the great private equity digital upgrade in full swing, dozens of tech companies and service providers are coming to market to aid GPs on their data journey. Within this cohort of providers, eyeing a digital gold rush, are a handful of solutions created by fund practitioners themselves. Like sports gear made by athletes (think golf clubs made by Tiger Woods) or hair products created by hairdressers (think Vidal Sassoon’s shampoo) - products created by the people that need them come with an air of seriousness, quality and officialdom.
