Stirling Square hires two
Stirling Square Capital Partners has named Toni Gillespie as chief of talent and Elisabetta Ricci as chief of staff, based in London.
Gillespie has held various HR leadership positions at the likes of Bridgepoint, BlackRock, VTB Capital and ABN AMRO, and most recently AMP Capital. In her new role, Gillespie is responsible for recruiting, fostering and developing human capital within the firm. She also supports the portfolio companies with leadership management.
Ricci was most recently a senior director at Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ). Prior to this she was a senior principal at TowerBrook Capital Partners for seven years, having spent five-and-a-half years as an associate at Goldman Sachs. In her new role, Ricci focuses on driving improvements in Stirling Square’s internal capabilities and operations, managing special projects and future-proofing initiatives.
“I am delighted to welcome Toni and Elisabetta to Stirling Square,” commented Stefano Bonfiglio, managing partner and co-founder of Stirling Square. “They join at an important moment in our evolution and growth and their experience and capabilities will have an immediate impact on our firm and its portfolio companies. They will work alongside senior leaders recruited in the past two years to enhance our internal capabilities in both ESG and digitalisation.”
