Tackling tokenisation

In recent months, Hamilton Lane and KKR have launched tokenised funds, highlighting the industry’s move towards digitalisation and democratisation. Appetite for harnessing tokenisation is clearly growing, with a recent study by Token City of 100 fund managers in France, Germany, Switzerland, the UK and Spain finding that more than half were considering tokenisation as a possibility.

Tokenisation can be defined as the representation of tangible assets through virtual tradeable pieces of code via a blockchain.
