Taranis Capital appoints CFO

Taranis Capital has appointed Dirk Burmann as CFO.

Burmann has more than 25 years of experience in finance, during which time he has held management consulting roles at PwC and KPMG, as well as four years at HGA Capital as head of fund management, controlling and risk management.

In addition, Burmann is a certified public accountant.

He is simultaneously managing director at Dirk Burmann Excellence in Finance, a Munich-based firm helping entrepreneurs, managing directors and CEOs with business consulting services. He has also established his own investment and advisory solutions firm.

He has experience in regulatory matters, fund administration, stakeholder management and investor communication.

Burmann has also taught as a university lecturer on valuations.

Taranis Capital is a fintech investment firm based in Dubai, with offices in the UK and in Switzerland.
