Taxation of partners: Changes expected

A proposed shake up to how partners in LLPs are to be taxed is currently under government consultation. Many investment management firms are structured as LLPs and therefore will be impacted by the proposals.

The government released a consultation and draft legislation on 20 July 2021 regarding proposed changes as to how partners in a partnership will be subject to tax.
