The ID Register gets Guernsey licence

by Krystal Scanlon 2 February 2021

The ID Register has received a licence from Guernsey Financial Services Commission to carry on controlled investment business.

Regulated status in Guernsey will enable investors to be approved once they’re in a private profile, leaving further KYC requests to The ID Register. It will also allow fund managers to rely on the system’s approval as well as reduce risk for service providers.
