TMF Group acquires PartnersAdmin

by Silvia Saccardi 22 March 2023

Fund admin provider TMF Group has acquired PartnersAdmin, with the aim of expanding its presence in the US.

Founded in 2008, PartnersAdmin is based in California. It provides services to fund managers via its technology platform, including portfolio, partnership and investor accounting.

TMF Group hopes to expand its client offering to North America, building on its previous acquisition of US-based fund administrator Venture Back Office in 2021.

In addition, TMF Group proceeded to partner with fintech firm Governance.com in June last year, bolstering its screening and compliance security services.

Lisa Wilcox, TMF Group’s North America market leader, commented: “This deal reflects how attractive the North American market is, due to its concentration of private equity firms and ease of doing business, as reported in our Global Business Complexity Index.”
