TNFD releases v0.2 beta framework

Taskforce for Nature-based Financial Disclosures (TNFD) has released the second beta version (v0.2) of its framework.

This second version was developed following consideration of more than 500 pieces of external feedback from more than 130 market participants and stakeholders across 37 countries. As such, it builds on and incorporates the core components of the first beta v0.1, which was released in March, while making several enhancements as well as introducing three new features.

These include:

• TNFD’s first draft architecture for metrics and targets
• Draft guidance on, and an illustrative set of dependency and impact metrics
• TNFD’s proposed approach to specific guidance
• An updated to the LEAP framework (LEAP-FI), the nature-related risk & opportunity assessment for financial institutions
