Total net sales of European AIFs declined in 2021

According to new data, the total net assets of AIFs and UCITS grew by 16.7% to €21.9trn at the end of 2021.

The European Fund and Asset Management Association’s (EFAMA) latest quarterly report, European Quarterly Statistical Release for Q4 2021, found AIFs and UCITS saw a 5.4% net asset growth just in Q4 2021, having attracted €232bn in net inflows.
