Universal Investment secures investment from CPP

Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP) and existing investor Montagu have partnered to back Group, a third-party management company (ManCo) and fund administrator. Together, Montagu and CPP will  provide Universal Investment with long-term backing.

Universal Investment serves both institutional investors and asset managers and is active across the three European fund domiciles: Germany, Ireland, and Luxembourg.

Universal Investment’s CEO Michael Reinhard said, “Our development into one of the fastest growing European fund service platforms was a decisive factor for CPP Investments to invest.
