Unlimited partnership

Over the past year, there has been a surge of partnership agreements between various private equity-focused tech providers. Additionally, these same tech providers have joined forces with a number of service providers. But who is doing what, with who?

Tech provider partnerships

The plethora of tech provider partnerships announced in the last year carry commonalities,
namely to automate manual processes, automate data collection and provide cloud storage, as well as streamline workflows.

Automation & streamlined workflows

Diligend & eVestment
Due diligence software provider Diligend announced its partnership with eVestment, in a bid to automate tasks and data requests from LPs and consultants. By joining forces, the pair aim to enable clients to complete more of their due diligence process via one solution.

LemonEdge & Accelex
Fintech start-up LemonEdge, formerly known as LemonTree before its rebrand in summer 2021, provides a low-code development platform for complex data and accounting needs. The platform teamed up with data acquisition, analytics and reporting provider Accelex to help private markets clients to further automate their front to back office operations. Together, they aim to do this by streamlining data workflows and removing manual processes.

LemonEdge & Chronograph
LemonEdge also partnered with portfolio monitoring technology solution Chronograph, to streamline front-to-back office investment operations. They aim to do this by enabling clients to integrate Chronograph’s investment performance data with LemonEdge’s single, end-to-end fund administration and accounting processes.

LemonEdge & Freyda
LemonEdge's third partnership features data extraction start-up platform Freyda. The duo aim to enable asset managers to automate and modernise their back office and investment management processes, by enabling institutional investors and fund administrators to automatically pull structured data directly into accounting information.

Canoe Intelligence & Bipsync
US financial technology company Canoe announced its partnership with research management software provider Bipsync. This joint venture plans to streamline and automate investment document collection and categorisation processes for clients.

Intapp & Microsoft
Cloud software solutions provider Intapp has joined forces with technology giant Microsoft in a multi-year partnership. The pair aim to accelerate the digital transformation across financial services, including private capital, investment banking, legal, accounting and consulting firms.

Broadridge & Amazon Web Services
Fintech company Broadridge Financial Solutions teamed up with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to launch a PE blockchain solution with the aim of improving communication between fund managers, investors and administrators by automating workflows.

Domos & SimCorp
The end-to-end solution joined forces with the multi-asset investment management solution to provide a front-to-back office solution across public and private asset classes, for LPs, GPs and service providers.

Data collection and storage

Allvue & Snowflake
Allvue announced it had partnered with data cloud company Snowflake, with the view to providing a centralised cloud solution for clients’ data storage and processing capabilities.

Allvue & Pitchbook
The solution also announced a joint venture with Pitchbook in order to increase its data offering to LPs.

ESG Enterprise & GaiaLens
Houston-based ESG SaaS and data analytics platform ESG Enterprise has teamed up with London-based ESG data and scoring platform GaiaLens. The partnership enables both platforms to help clients across the US and Europe, while benefiting from ESG Enterprise’s AI technology and GaiaLens’ machine learning capabilities.
