Valutico launches VC valuation solution

by Matthias Plötz 22 August 2022

Fintech firm Valutico announced the launch of its in-platform feature, aimed at increasing accuracy of mid-to-late stage start-up valuations for VC firms.

By using data already incorporated in its platform, Valutico hopes to combat start-up companies’ lack of financial history with a method focused on the VC firm’s desired rate of return as an alternative to discounted cash flow.

Instead, the company aims to assess start-ups on metrics such as EV/Sales, EV/EBITDA, EV/EBIT, and P/E multiples.

“We’re particularly happy that this represents a significant increase in our offering for Venture Capital and Corporate Finance firms across the 70 countries Valutico is already being used in,” said CEO, Paul Resch.
