Vista appoints new CFO
Vista Equity Partners has appointed Lauren Dillard as chief financial officer and senior managing director.
She takes over from John Warnken-Brill, who is retiring from the role after 15 years.
Dillard joins from Nasdaq, where she has spent the last three years as head of investment intelligence, executive vice president. In this role she was responsible for driving expansion across Nasdaq’s index, data and investment analytics businesses for clients, including global asset managers, asset owners, consultants, retail brokers and fintechs. She was also part of the executive team that was responsible for decisions, capital allocation and M&A for the firm.
Prior to this, Dillard spent 17 years at Carlyle. She was most recently a managing director and head of the firm’s investment solutions group, where she also served as COO and CFO. Throughout her time at Carlyle, she held a number of positions, including head of global tax department and head of global equity programmes. She was also a member of Carlyle’s transaction team where she assisted with its IPO. Before this, she worked in the tax practice of Arthur Andersen.
“Our shared belief in the transformative power of technology and Lauren’s strategic and operational prowess across technology and finance will be invaluable as we look to further accelerate Vista’s growth. We are thrilled to have her join the firm,” said David Breach, Vista’s president and COO. “As we welcome Lauren, we also want to thank John for his instrumental role in laying Vista’s strong foundation, and we wish him and his family the best as he starts this next chapter.”
