Waterland closes €500m ESG-linked bridge loan

by Alice Murray 2 June 2021

Waterland Private Equity Investments has secured a €500m ESG-lined bridge facility linked to it’s eight fund.

The bridge facility was provided by Natixis, ABN Amro and Rabobank and is governed by a set of ESG KPIs, one of which is tied to the GP while the rest relate to its portfolio companies. If the KPIs are met, the loan’s margin is reduced.
