Westbrook joins Simpson Thacher

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett has appointed Nicholas Westbrook as a data regulation counsel in its London office.

Westbrook joins the practice having spent eight years at Hogan Lovells.

In between his two stints at Hogan, Westbrook gained further legal experience as EMEA privacy counsel at Aon in 2019 and as data protection counsel at PRS for Music in 2020.

In his new role, Westbrook will work to expand Simpson's UK and European data and digital regulation practice.
