WGAM invests in Validus

Walter Global Asset Management (WGAM) has purchased a minority stake in risk management business Validus Risk Management.

WGAM focuses on asset management firms and service providers. Validus develops risk management strategies via its technological platform.

“Validus sets itself apart with its distinctive approach to financial risk management, high quality team and exclusive technological platform – not to mention very strong growth potential,” said WGAM’s CEO and founding partner Sylvain Brosseau.
