XTAL launches Private Fund Forward Exchange

Fintech XTAL Strategies has launched the Private Fund Forward Exchange (PRIFFE).

The aim is to fill the lack of derivative solutions gap in the private market.

The exchange is an institutional derivative risk transfer platform catered to the private market funds industry, which facilitates risk transfer transactions such as forwards, swaps and OTC option contracts. It also aids unlisted private fund portfolio allocations as well as interests in individual funds.

PRIFFE counters the lack of transparency from NAV and private fund cashflows by translating them into comprehensive bond-like yields, which can be exchanged with derivatives over any future maturity.
