iCapital appoints four senior leaders

High-profile hires come off the back of rapid growth

BlackRock-backed iCapital Network has hired Michael Kushner as CFO, Jennifer Ashley as chief people officer, Diane Frankenfield as CMO and Stephen Jacobs as general counsel.

New CFO Kushner joins from JPMorgan where he worked for 19 years in several senior finance and risk management positions.

Newly-named chief people officer Ashley was previously global human resources leader for CBRE, where she spent 15 years. Prior to joining CBRE, she worked in the aviation industry.

Frankenfield, who joins as CMO, was previously head of US marketing and managing director at Legg Mason. Prior to that she was senior vice president and head of marketing at Oppenheimer Funds.

Jacobs, who joins as general counsel was previously partner and co-chair of the corporate department at Harrick, Feinstein. Prior to that he was COO, general counsel and CCO at hedge fund Spectrum Group Management.

iCapital essentially aggregates investments from retail investors and provides access to alternative funds. It enables high-net-worths and advisors to invest digitally into managers that typically only collect institutional capital. Minimum tickets are $100,000. The iCapital platform now services $41bn of invested capital for more than 100,000 accounts.
