As more and more houses beef up their IR functions in order to better serve LPs, it is vital these teams work effectively with CFOs and COOs to ensure timely and accurate investor communication.
The CFO role varies from firm to firm, but a clear trend can be seen among investor relations departments. According to a recent survey of investors conducted by Stevenson James, more than 80% of respondents believed the IR function to be 'valuable' or 'extremely valuable'.
