PA-ying it forward
PAs and EAs and office managers are often misunderstood. For some, having a personal assistant speaks of exuberance and over-inflated egos. For others, the role is overlooked as a low-grade, purely administrative function.
To forgo a PA entirely, or employ one on the basis that they will simply carry out mundane tasks wastes a fantastic opportunity.
But the real bottom line for COOs, CFOs, or HR heads concerned about upping headcount on what may seem to be a non-essential hire is the savings they can offer to the business; the ability to allow senior executives to focus on core tasks; improved office culture and overall better service to clients.
