Apex creates global head of valuation role

Apex has appointed Anthony Alfonso as global head of valuation, a newly-created role.

Alfonso joins from accountancy and advisory firm BDO, where he served as global valuation leader in its international capital finance group. He also co-led the US corporate finance practice and was the valuation and capital markets analysis national managing principal.

Prior to that, he worked at Mellon Bank, Arthur Andersen, KPMG and Houlihan Lokey. With a total 25 years’ experience working in financial services, Alfonso has knowledge of valuations across several jurisdictions.

In his new role, Alfonso will oversee product innovation and delivery of valuation advisory services.

He commented in a statement: “I am excited to be joining Apex Group and look forward to building our valuation services to provide our clients with a robust and transparent valuation framework that meets their specific requirements.”
