IQ-EQ appoints head of risk and compliance

IQ-EQ has appointed Philip Hanssens as head of risk and compliance for continental Europe, based in London.

Hanssens made the move after five years at Fidelity International, where he was most recently chief compliance officer, led the company’s European compliance advisory team and oversaw the delivery of advisory services across EMEA and Latin America.

Additionally, he spent three years as conducting officer and was responsible for business and investment compliance, outsourcing oversight, data protection and complaints handling for Fidelity’s UCITS and AIFMD management company.
