Maguar appoints CFO

by Matthias Plötz 16 February 2023

Maguar Capital has appointed Jörg Helten as the firm’s CFO, based in Munich.

Helten joined the firm from ADAC SE, where he spent the last three years working as group CFO. He made the move to ADAC after 15 years at Allianz, where he started as CFO in 2007 and went on to hold various senior leadership positions across distribution and finance.

His new role at Maguar will see him initially responsible for enhancing the firm’s operations and governance functions.

Helten is the latest catch in a series of recent hires. In February, Maguar brought on two new investment associates in Hannah Siegler and Michael Friedrich, to broaden its capabilities in deal sourcing and portfolio management.
