The Drawdown Awards winners: Kristy Trieste

Kristy Trieste, founding partner of Motive Partners, was named Chief Financial Officer of the Year at The Drawdown Awards 2023.

Described as a phenomenal and inspirational leader within her company, Kristy Trieste led on a number of major initiatives for Motive Partners during the judging period.

She has overseen the doubling of Motive Partners’ finance and operations team, led on the integration of Motive Create (formerly Jigsaw XYZ), arranged offsite strategy sessions and training sessions with an executive coach, and been instrumental in the digitalisation of the firm’s fund administration and investor relations processes.

Trieste is a founding partner of Motive Partners and, as part of her responsibilities overseeing the company’s financial management, strategic business decisions, operational excellence and the stewardship of the firm’s investor capital, she has built its finance, operations, legal and human capital teams from scratch.

The judges praised Trieste for overseeing significant change at her firm while growing headcount seamlessly, with her ability to manage strategy and detail simultaneously seen as her standout characteristic.
