A&M appoints generative AI practice head

by Silvia Saccardi 16 October 2023

Alvarez & Marsal has appointed managing director Anil Kumar to lead the firm's generative AI practice.

Kumar will work with consulting lead David McGraw and CTO Chaz Henry to lead the private equity performance improvement (PEPI) generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) practice.

The formalisation of the GenAI practice means A&M has developed several solutions to assist the PE industry with performance-improving tools for pre- and post-acquisition.

Having spent 12 years at A&M as managing director for the firm’s PE services operations group, Kumar has gained experience in conducting diligence and transformation projects for tech-enabled companies.
